More random stuff
Well, I posted most of my stuff earlier in the post below (make sure ya read that!) but I have more random stuff I want to post about... I don't think I never posted a pic of my car with my windows tinted did I? Well here's one from a few weeks ago in the snow- looks kinda sexy there eh?
Of course, I think I'm going to replace my Cavalier in the fall.. check out this new Chevrolet Cobalt being released at that time! This is a concept pic, but well, mmm! It'll be officially unveiled, with real pics, in a week or so.
Oh, and there's a Lord of the Rings supertrailer out :) You HAVE to see this - show it to someone who hasn't seen any, especially. IT ROCKS! Oh, Return of the King made $124 million from Wed-Sun last week, and there are rumors that the Extended Edition might be 5 hours long :) Does anyone have any idea how THREE of my remotes would go bad? I tried changing the batteries, everything... they don't work I'll continue to update as I think of things...
Merry Christmas!
First off, I want to say Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate it :) And Happy Holidays to those who don't! My Christmas hasn't been that exciting, (well, besides what I did yesterday which is mentioned waaay later).. the only news is that my aunt is pregnant (with her first child - at 35!). We haven't had a new addition to my family in 17 years - my brother is the youngest of all of us - (yea, it's about time us kids start havin kids eh?), so this should prove quite interesting. So ya, I haven't updated in a week again. I have my reasons, and they would be work, school, and relaxing. So let's start at the top. Work has been the same as usual, it's just been very, very hectic, so I don't really have much to say about that. Nothing new or exciting or anything like that. I just have to be there at 6am tomorrow to set the ad because for some reason they were incapable of doing it last night. I guess they wanted to get home to their families on Christmas Eve - can't really blame them. School is finally done for me for the semester. I don't know how well my grades are - I fear for two classes, honestly. But now I need to let myself relax and get other things done before I have to worry about my last semester at Mercer in January. I'm still deciding what to do about if i want to transfer or not, but I figured I should at least fill out and send out applications to various ones to transfer to. I saved various college .pdf files to a CD and I'm going to print them at work tomorrow and then get to filling them out. The colleges I'm looking at are: Drew, Drexel, Montclair St, NJIT, Rider, Rowan, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Stevens, TCNJ,and Temple. A few of them I might not mail in but I just ran down a list of colleges around me I'd like to go to and those caught my eye. I'd love to go to Full Sail in Miami but I don't know... I guess I could always fill something out for them too. As for relaxing and all that various random stuff... I really, really need to start playing my backlog of games. I got Fire Emblem and FFTA for GBA today, as well as Prince of Persia and FZero for GC, along with alllll the other games I need to play/beat. Not to mention the massive amount of DVD's I could watch - I have over 90 now, my brother has over 100, and we figured out that most of ours are not the same ones, so we have quite a big DVD selection goin on, and I'm happy I got new DVD racks for Christmas - now I can hold up to 200; of course it's half full ) We also have 4 DVD players (not counting the two laptops that can do it) in the house, so I think we're pretty well inclined in that department :) I need to clean my room AGAIN, clean up my computer (I'm missing 40 gigs on my hd, I think I should try to clean that up and defrag), not to mention how my laptop is.. Oh and Cingular is so so pissing me off lately, gah their service has gone down the tubes. It's a shame I don't think I can port my number until May, how stupid. I want to either unlock my Siemens S56 and try it with someone else, or get some money and get the Motorola V600 phone that'll be out soon - it's so sweet. Oh and I finally ordered a Jabra bluetooth headset, yay! $80, not too bad, since they kick ass. I can't wait for my Cingular bill this month; text messaging is going to be sky high. Oh, has anyone ever heard of Swoops candy? My mom got them.. they're like pringle shaped chocolates.. so odd..

"My friends - you bow to no one"
Nothing really important here, I just feel like quoting Return of the King at 6:30 in the morning "Smeagol?! What is this!!?" "You'll see" "Come back, Mr. Frodo. Don't go where I can't follow" "I can see the Shire" "Fool of a Took!" "That sword was broken!" "It has been reforged" "You have the gift of foresight - tell me what you have seen!" "The ring is MINE!" "Actually, it would be best if you do not speak at all" "This is not the first time a hobbit has crossed your path" "Faramir, do not throw your life away - your father loves you. He will remember before the end" "Word has reached my ears of this Aragorn some of Arathorn. And I tell you now - I will not bow to this Ranger from the North!" "They will follow the King of Gondor" "My lord, the beacons are lit! Gondor calls for Aide!" "... and Rohan will answer" "You must take a different road to Gondor" "For Frodo!" "Don't you know by now the stubborness of a dwarf?" "Face it laddy, we're coming with you" "Is there any possbility of seeing that old ring of mine one last time?" "It is time, Frodo" "The last pages are for you, Sam" I don't think any of those are really spoilerish, especially since it's not really obvious who is saying anything :) I'm sure I'll post more as I think about the movie again, and as I see it again :)
"That's why I have a job"
Ah, my update before bed. First off, I would like toa gain emphasize the need for everyone to go see this movie, at it is great. Also, as snake reminded me, for those of you who looked at that picture I posted a few weeks ago saying it had a spoiler in it for the movie,a nd couldn't figure out what it was, after seeing the movie look at it again. Notice now? :) Oh, I'm also very proud of the majority of people who were able to survive since 2001 and not find out how this whole thing ended by asking or reading the books. Must've been a long journey :) And me myself, I plan on seeing it twice more this weekend :) First day figures are supposed to be available tomorrow btw, but it made about $8 million alone at midnight showings. So today I woke up temporarily, then zonked back out till 1ish, woke up, ate cereal, posted my post, surfed the web. Then at 2 I had a doctor appointment, this time it was for my head. I first had him check out my ear, which if I put any pressure on it at all (like, laid down on it) it would clog. He used a lil tool and took out a ton of earwax from it. "Feel better?" me: "Yeah, I couldn't get that myself though". His response? "That's why I have a job". All I know is its better, woo! Next up was my headaches and runny nose and stuff for the past 6 weeks. He did some examining, used a lil camera to look in my nose, and decided I still have a mild sinus infection that hasn't gone away, and prescribed me more medication. I am not the healthiest person, lol, and I have so much to look forward to. Speaking of that, an ad came on for Deborah Heart & Lung center before RotK started last night and I just continuously gave it both middle fingers; my brother just kept shaking his head and told me to calm down. Bah, they're a bunch of IDIOTS!.. How do you not check to make sure your damn heart monitoring machines are MONITORING THE HEART and allow people to have heart attacks after a triple bypass surgery?! RETARTS!!!!! AAKSJLDLAKJFSLDFKJSDLFKJ Anyway, didn't mean to get on that rant. After the dr I came home and cleaned my room (looks better now, whew). Gotta set up my new DVD rack hehe, so I don't have DVD's all over the place. Then I went to Olive Garden with me, my mom, brother, and grandfather. After that I came home and I've been lounging ever since, chatting, typing, cleaning my room.. gotta finish my online stuff, guess I'll do that tomorrow, then I can relax except work till January. Hang out, read, play games.. yay :) Relaxation time is coming! After I get through work tomorrow, which'll be hell... Off to bed!
"No man can kill me." "I am no man"
Oh my god, what a GREAT MOVIE! I don't really want to say too much about it, but you HAVE TO GO SEE IT. Even people who liked the first two but weren't crazy about them really liked this one. And it most definitely has Best Picture written over it. Amazing, amazing. And if you are prone to becoming emotional in any way towards movies, bring a nice big box of Kleenex, because half my theater was bawling by the end. Of course, half of the theater was girls, not that I'm saying anything by that ;) Well, I plan on seeing it at least once more this week, but for now I need to do stuff.. I have school things to do, room to clean, etc etc, even though its my birthday. I just need to get stuff done. I'll update again later probably.

The Journey Ends Tonight!
Hmm.. you know it's going to be an interesting day when it starts out and you're talking to someone that you didn't really expect to talk to. Ah well, I wished her a happy birthday, which I wasn't sure I'd be able to do anywhere near her birthday, and it's some type of hollow shell resemblence to years past. But now I'm sitting here waiting to leave for work, looking over some of my class stuff that's due later and is barely done, oh boy! :) And then Return of the King is tonight!! YEA! We've got Return of the King tonight (11 of us are going from work, woo!), my birthday tomorrow, kind of a dull day Thursday besides work, and then on Friday is the best part of the week, where I get to hang out with my girlfriend, yay :) Welp, that's pretty much it. I gotta get dressed (ya know, throw on the Staples uniform) and keep lookin this classwork over.. then get through work.. then finish hw/possibly retake a test in a class tonight/go buy a cute lil christmas present for a certain someone that I thought of, since we're exchanging lil gifts and all ;) / get some sleep somehow/see Return of the King! Off I go! Oh, does anyone know why my cat started biting my ear lobe? Its not a fun thing, let me tell ya. Oh and for anyone who is anticipating the Sopranos return on March 7th like me, there's a clip from Season 5 on this page.

Great things are coming!
I'm still chugging through class stuff to get it all done by Tuesday (except the online classes, they are Friday). I'm also working a lot like usual, and I've been playing games like Diablo2 for some reason, hehe (I need to play more GC and GBA games though).. Oh and Tuesday night at 10:30 I'll be at AMC, and at 12:01am Wednesday it'll be time for Return of the King and my birthday :) And then I'll probably see it again Wed or Thurs, and then definitely see it again at 7pm with some friends from my class at Steinert. And hey, if any of you people are reading this and want to join us at that, let me or Dan Burton know! Oh, and I enjoyed myself when I stopped in at Staples to buy stuff today (employee discount weekend + christmas gift card + coupon, so I bought my brother presents). Oh, I'd also like to say Congrats to the US Army for capturing Saddam. Now we don't look quite as bad, thanks guys :) Oh also, is anyone else having issues with AIM recently? Whenever it switches ads at the top if gives me an error message saying "Undefined ;". and it keeps crashing and closing. I had to switch back to Trillain because it was bothering me so much. That's pretty much it, I just need to get stuff done for class, work to make money, see Return of the King Wednesday, and hope the week goes fast so I can see my girlfriend again on Friday :) I'm so excited, and happy :) Oh, you guys might be interested in seeing the Spiderman 2 trailer. It'll also be in front of Return of the King :)

Zoom Zoom Zoom!
Geeze, it's already Friday morning as I write this, amazing! Sorry I haven't really posted except for the song this week, I've been extremely busy. Monday: Work-Class, Tuesday: Work-Class, Wednseday: Work-Online Class HW, Today: was supposed to be off, got called into work, then class/final and took two tests while I was at it there for other classes. I'm about halfway done everything for my classes I'd say, although I don't have to go back to Mercer after Monday until January 20th :) Nothin else really; I need to clean my room again, I work in the morning again, then I need to do more school stuff, work a bit Saturday/get overtime (since I had to go in today), have plans Sat night I hope.. I'm afraid to look at the weather.. Eek its going to snow sunday! hah, what fun, just as long as it stays on Sunday. Cloudy and cold on my birthday too :( oh and I am playing Diablo2 again, go figure haha. Welp, off to bed since I'm exhausted. Update tomorrow I hope. 5 days till RotK/my birthday!

Hmm..
Lay down Your sweet and weary head Night is falling You have come to journey's end Sleep now Dream-of the ones who came before They are calling From across a distant shore Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face? Soon you will see All of your fears will pass away Safe in my arms You're only sleeping What can you see On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea A pale moon rises The ships have come To carry you home And all will turn to silver glass A light on the water All souls pass Hope fades Into the world of night Through shadows falling Out of memory and time Don't say We have come now to the end White shores are calling You and I will meet again And you'll be here in my arms Just sleeping What can you see on the horizon? Why do the gulls call? Across the sea A pale moon rises The ships have come To carry you home And all will turn to silver glass A light on the water Grey ships pass Into the West - Into the West, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Saturday Saturday Saturday
Ok, so I haven't updated since Monday.. I'm sorry, that's not a good thing. Where to begin.. I guess I should run down the week. What have I been doing? Work, school, and chatting mostly. I have a lot of schoolwork I need to get done and I keep procrastinating - it's not good. I seriously need to buckle down and plow through it tomorrow so I have all the big stuff done for the semester. I have one more week of class, and then finals. And as for chatting I've been talking to tons of people, and it's been distracting me from watching movies, playing games, and doing homework, hehe. Not that that's bad. And for work.. I worked a lot this week, and managed to meet my goal of having to leave at 1 instead of 5 today because of overtime. Apparently Staples closed at 6:30 today because of the snow.. even though it stopped, hehe. We got a good 16-18 inches (I'll take pics in the morning). Oh thank god I'm parked in the driveway and didn't pull back out into the street tonight like my mom asked me to because she has to leave in the morning - the plows are goin by right now, I woulda been seriously stuck, whew. Well I'll still be stuck in the driveway now, but ya know. My front wheel drive cavalier is alright in this weather, but not the greatest in the world. I need to weigh my ass down. I've also been working on my website today, getting Coranto/NewsPro up - people might actually be able to post soon, woohoo! Then my site can actually operate :) That makes me happy. We'll see. I'm also playing Diablo 2, hehe. Gotta love it. And I have 200,000 other games to play as well. Gotta get my schoolwork done so I have a month off to play games and work on the website and try to find a girlfriend, lol. Oh, and I have an extra ticket to Return of the King.. someone let me know about it.. Oh, what else is new.. the EBGames in the Hamilton Marketplace opneed, yay. I got Pirates of the Caribbean, yay! I should go pick up SimCity for GBA and Pac-Man World 2 for GC (It's $20, and you get Pac-Man Vs free. Pac-Man VS = a GC/GBA hybrid game where three people can play the ghosts on the GC, and you play as Pac-Man on the GBA running from them. Cool huh? :)). Anyway, Tuesday I got to work on time, but all the roads were icey and it kept customers (and employees) away for awhile, and I had planned on taking a lunch and leaving on time.. but I got stuck helping copy center. So that made me not take a lunch, and then I had my data communications class at night, yay. Wednesday I ended up staying till 5 because I made a big mess redoing printers and had to clean it up. Then we went to take the dogs to get cleaned and that failed, and then I stayed home for the night. Thursday I was off, so I went to Mercer and took 2 tests, then picked up Pirates, then I brought my brother to work, got some Cracker Barrel salads, and had my NET120 class, yay. Yesterday I worked normal time, came home, sat around 'cause I was bored after I shoveled, and thats it. Today I went to work from 9-1, had no customers, watched it snow another 6+ inches and had to dig my car out AGAIN, got free food, and went home.. sat around and talked to more interesting people the rest of the day, and worked on my website and stuff.. So tomorrow.. it's: homework, website, games. Christmas stuff/finances. Yea, that sounds good. Oh and pictures of the snow. Off to more D2 for a bit, and then bed!

T-5 Days...
I have to run off to class but I wanted to post two things I thought were pretty good reads; I'll update later with more rambles. First off is this (read it here):
A comment last year by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on the hunt for Iraq's weapons of mass destruction was awarded the "Foot in Mouth" prize Monday by Britain's Plain English Campaign. Rumsfeld, renowned for his uncompromising tough talking, received the prize for the most baffling comment by a public figure. "Reports that say something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know," Rumsfeld told a news briefing. "We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."Also, here's a scoop on the Return of the King premiere in New Zealand:
Like a victorious general at the front of his army, home-grown director Peter Jackson led stars from "The Return of the King" for five km (3 miles) through central Wellington on Monday, flanked by characters clad in armor and on black horses. Amid drifts of ticker tape thrown by fans, Jackson and cast members were besieged by crowds 10 deep as they made their way up the 470 meter-long (510 yards) red carpet to the theater.Gotta love it :) I'll update later, off to my Linux class! Yay, back from that awful class! Luckily next week we learn about AS/400, and the following week is the final, because I can't take much more of it - we're not really learning linux, blah. So work today was alright, there's a lot to get done and I definitely did not have time to finish it all today. Luckily it allowed me to stay an extra hour and take a shorter lunch, and I'm sure I can do that again this week. That let's me have even more time on Saturday :) Yay :) And speaking of that.. things are going well still, and I'm happy. Still no explanation, you'll get one eventually guys, for better or for worse. Let's hope it's for the better :) And ya, after class my night encompassed chats again, hehe. So I'm finding even more fun articles for you guys to read. Here's another:
And not to be outdone, here's a news article that sums up all the other news articles today aobut New Line and Peter Jackson really wanting to make The Hobbit!! (it also talks about them wanting to build a LotR museum in New Zealand but blah)Wellington, New Zealand - A recently leaked trailer for The Return of the King has Tolkien fans outraged over the apparent addition of a new character - Jar-Jaromir. The scene depicted in the trailer shows Jar-Jaromir shouting, "Gondora gonna fallsa"; he then trips over a corpse and knocks down a couple of Uruk-hai. Producers of The Lord of the Rings trilogy confirmed the addition of the half-brother of Boromir and Faramir.
New Line, which spent $US300million ($415 million) making the films, is already planning to continue its Rings success with an adaptation of Tolkien's novel The Hobbit. More difficulties with the Tolkien estate were looming, said Jackson, who added that he would be keen to get involved after he finishes remaking King Kong in 2006. "New Line haven't actually talked to me about The Hobbit. I know there's difficulty about the rights, certainly if they want to talk to me about it I'd be keen," he said.Well that's all. Off to bed :) "No one knows it's here, do they? Do they, Gandalf?" - Frodo Baggins, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Helloooo December :)
Geeze, it's December! I can't believe it. Considering everything that's happened this year I have to say that it has gone by rather quickly. But also considering how much has happened, I'm really curious/slightly afraid to see what this month brings. I have my thoughts and hopes, and then I have the possbility of reality, so we'll see which wins this time. I hope the year ends better than the predicted track record for it so far is showing, but we'll see. What'd I do today? Got up, showered, ate Frosted Cheerios, went out to Barnes & Noble, came home, put up Christmas Decorations (some), chatted with people, played FFXI, ate some dinner, chatted more, watched TV, attempted to do hw which didnt get done.. and now I'm typing this. Fun huh? :) That's about it; work at 7, yay! I might actually get a decent night's sleep tonight though, woohoo. I need to suck up extra hours during the week to get out early Saturday too :) Oh by the way, I shaved today, lol. That makes AN ENTIRE MONTH! And yes, I do have to shave above my lip every week or so, when I talk about this I'm referring to the rest of my face ;) I'm sure you all needed to know this. HAPPY DECEMBER! "Noooooo!!!!!!" - Sam, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Hello I am Microsoft Sam
Did you know? The same location used to build the set of Minas Tirith for Return of the King was the location used to build Helm's Deep Haha, you guys HAVE to read this interview with gollum. Here's an excerpt:
How else should The Lord of the Rings end, I ask, with some trepidation. "Gollum and Arwen, of course. She falls in love with us, yes, they buy farm in Gondor, raise little elf Gollums, yes, yes, she bears us many little Gollums, runs across the plains of Gondor in flowing elf dress, yes, yes, yesss.'Great stuff. Speaking of Lord of the Rings, everyone needs to Look at this picture. Warning: it contains a HUGE SPOILER for the movie. Why should you look at it then? Because I guarantee you that unless you know what you're looking for YOU WILL NOT NOTICE IT. People who have read the book, you know :) For everyone else, bookmark or save that pic, and look at it in 3 weeks. You'll know right away :) Oh and please, no one post any spoilers in the talkbacks. A lot of people have made it 3 years without knowning the ending, keep it that way, please? So what'd I do today? Got up at 11 like I figured, and ate some food, chatted a bit, and then went off to work. Work was alright.. someone called out in my department so after 5 I was by myself and only got to take a quick lunch of Vito's, and a cashier called out so someone else was made to stay. The night was alright; I had to take down the old ad, put the new one up, and then also help customers. It was a normal hectic night for me. The fun began after we closed. I was thinking of how to make the closing announcement funny, so I thought that I could use Microsoft Sam to do it. Microsoft Sam is in a Speech program in the Control Panel on Windows XP. Basically you can type in text and have it say it; it's supposed to test out for Accessibility for impaired people. If you don't have it installed go get your Windows XP cd and check your installed accessibility stuff. Anyway, I typed in the closing announcement and made it talk. My boss heard it, and goes "oh my god. can you make it say anything?" and im like yes, so he goes and grabs the portable phone and types in something and puts it on the loudspeaker, and well.. for the next half hour these guys came up with the must vulgar, hilarious stuff and played it over the intercom for kicks, and even called someone and played one for them. oh man, great times, with people I enjoy working with :) Only 3 employees left and one manager there, it was good. Sorry, had to take a break to eat my Rama noodles. Anyway, after work I went over to AMC really quick to grab another movie ticket for Screen 13 for RotK, just incase I need it for certain reasons :) And you know it's gonna sell out and there's gonna be like 8 screens playing it at midnight. Aah, good times. We should dress up at something :) Well, that's all I have for tonight. Oh, on the list of games I have installed, chalk up Diablo 2/Lord of Destruction. I need to go play the Frozen Throne I think.. "You.. Shall Not.. Pass!!!" - Gandalf, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Gonna make this quick
I'm gonna make this quick (well, as quick as possible for me, who likes to drag things out that I type). It's like 3am and I still haven't gotten to bed; no wonder I can't wake myself up till 11, lol. For the past 5 hours I've been chatting with people, surfing the web reading news, and posting/reading game forums. It was a good night though actually, so that tells you more about me, heh. I wonder how many people actually find the stuff I like to do as good and interesting, and not idiotic and childish and a huge turnoff. Not very many, I bet :( Well, thats pretty much it. All I did today was wake up, shower, eat, clean my desk, and then go to work.. then the chatting as I mentioned above. Black Friday (the aftermath) wasn't too bad, although people can't understand the idea of "early bird specials" and "we are out, sir". And I get to go back tomorrow, yay. 1-10 again :/ I hope someone comes and visits. Luckily I'm off Sunday, not that I have any clue what I'm gonna do. Maybe play FFXI, or WC3, or somethin :) That's all, goodnight! "I'm old, Gandalf. I know I don't look it but I'm beginning to feel it in my heart. I feel thin... sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread." Bilbo Baggins, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Happy Thanksgiving!
Did you know? Men were created to be mortal Elves. Dwarves were created out of the earth. Orcs were once Elves who became twisted and mutated by Sauron. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope you guys had a more eventful day than I did. what did I do today? Slept, got up, showered, played Mario Kart, ate food/conversed with the little amount of relatives that came over, chatted on the pc, watched xmen2, fell asleep, chatted with people again, and here I am. What a day. And I get to work tomorrow 1-10 and Saturday 1-10 too. Be nice if someone comes to visit, especially since all of you people are back from college for the weekend :) Btw, XMen2 is still a friggin great movie. For those of you going Black Friday shopping, I wish you the best of luck. The only thing that interests me (besides the HDTV's that I have no money for), is a 256MB SD card for $49.99. Egads I wish I had money! But I spent it all yesterday, doh :( I see a nice DVD rack at Office Max too that might have to end up being a Christmas gift, have to see. I can't wait to deal with people at work tomorrow though, especially those wanting a price match. I should bring my ads from home just in case. For those of you thinking about getting a Gamecube - get it. There are some good games on it (I'll run down a list for anyone interested), and even games like Mario Kart can be played online now, yay :) It's actually meant to do only LAN play, but if you download a homebrewed program called Warp Pipe it'll let you play online. Cool huh? I want to beat someone in it :) Btw, I have Half-Life, TFC, and Counterstrike installed again, and I'm using Steam.. my email Steam is under is dday64@optonline.net if you want to add me to your friends list. I should download DoD while I'm at it, eh? Hah, I was just shown two pretty funny flash files. One is a Chip N' Dale MMORPG, another is Pong: Not Just a Game. Check them out ;) Hey, check this out - I found this info on CNN.com where they were talkin about some guy from NJ who died of Meningitis - Symptoms of meningitis usually appear within four days and can include fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, a stiff neck, rash, confusion, sleepiness and discomfort while looking into bright light. Gee, that sure sounds like what I had when I was sick. Fever: yes. Headache: yes. Nausea: a little. Vomiting: no, but I made sure I didnt a few times. Stiff neck: absolutely. Rash: no. Confusion: always. Sleepiness: yes. Discomfort looking into light: absolutely, I had a few migraines from the light, and I couldn't look at my PC. Frankly I'm amazed my spinal tap came back negative after that, I wonder what I had then. Ya know, someone mentioned to me again today (I hear this very rarely, but I think it often) that it looks like I could be a writer. I really think I need to make some time and just sit and think and try to figure out something I could write about. I think if I had an idea I'd be doing pretty well... maybe during my winter break in 3 weeks I'll have time. I still feel stressed from school for some reason even though I have basically everything done, and my room is messy again, arg :( Plus I'm tryin to work on my website and maybe get it the way I want, we'll see. Well I should be getting to bed. I just realized I forgot a quote last night. Guess that definitely shows I wasn't in a good mood huh? Duct-taping my mouth shut
Did you know? Gollum was once a hobbit; one of the 'river-folk'; hobbits who are not afraid of the water. So I've decided that I'm going to keep my mouth shut about certain issues. No, not about Randy and Brittany, about other things. I say some things as mean cruel jokes against myself and it happens? What is that about? And what do I mean? Well, all will come to light eventually maybe.. and if not, well then there's no need to talk up a storm now. And I like to keep my livejournal as neutral as possible to everyone reading, if you haven't noticed :) So today I had work.. I got to count all the ink in the friggin store again, go me. Cycle counts are awful. I'm basically in control of checking for a certain set of products each day and making sure the count is right with the inventory, and if not trying to find the stuff and adjust it. It's a pain in the ass, and it makes me afraid of my boss when I have to show her bad things that neither I - nor anyone else - can find. That took up the majority of the day; then I filled ink, and brought out TURBOTAX! and then went home. I chatted with some people, ate dinner, went to class and took a linux test (2 more classes, woohoo!), then came home and proceeded to have an.. interesting evening.. Oh, and I think my poor vtech phone is dying :( It's 3 1/2 years old, the battery doesnt seem to want to hold a charge more than 2 hours now.. time to get a new one. Well that's really it; tomorrow shall prove to be an eventful day I'm sure. Hopefully I'll discover the cause of my.. issues.. Oh and if you guys are having problems accessing my website it's because its moving servers. It'll be good again in a day or two, and I'm happy about this switch :) Oh, word flew through the grapevine this evening that a sophomore at Steinert hung himself today. That is not a good thing, for him, his family, and definitely for the Steinert community. This is two deaths that have rocked the school since September; not a good way to start off the year. Become who you were born to be!
I've decided to add a Lord of the Rings factoid at the top of each post until the movie starts, also. These facts won't divulge any info in Return of the King (although I read the books so I know what happens). They will only be things that are general knowledge for anyone to know, and include things up to the end of the Two Towers. If you haven't seen both of the LOTR movies that are out yet, well, thats not my fault: Did you know? Galadriel is Arwen's grandmother, and Elrond's mother-in-law? AAAAAH RETURN OF THE KING ARRR! ME WANT TO SEE NOW!!!!! Sorry, I'm just hyped like no other. Had to get that out of my system :) While that is the movie I'm looking forward to the most, there are others I want to see soon. (And I'm putting all of these onto my usb memory to bring into work to show. You know how many people look at the $700 LCD monitors and comment on how nice they look when it's running a Return of the King preview? Oooh yea ;)). Anyway, those movies are: Bad Santa (starring Billy Bob Thorton), Big Fish (Starring Ewan McGregor), The Day After Tomorrow, Envy (Starring Jack Black & Ben Stiller), Peter Pan, Shrek 2, Something's Gotta Give (Starring Jack Nicholson), The Incredibles, and Timeline. So I think I'm going to post in pieces today, and just update it till I go to bed. So far I've gotten up, talked to some people online (figures I'm not hangin out with the person I wanted to today, arg), read a book, downloaded movie previews, and stuff. Now I'm doing this, going to play some games soon. First off - I've downloaded TorrentStorm, which is excellent for downloading multiple torrents. I had to switch my cable modem with a newer one in the house though, as apparently mine kept crashing when it was faced with a lot of bandwidth. It's almost 5 years old, so I guess it's allowed to. One thing though - I have to download on my laptop. If I try downloading torrents on my desktop it starts to lock up until I cancel out the program. Why? I have no idea, I hope someone can help me. Oh, and Flash/USB/Keychain/Portable/whatever the heck you want to call it memory is AMAZING. I own two now (a Sandisk 128MB USB 2.0 one and a Lexar 512MB USB 1.1 one), and they are just the best things ever invented. What are they? They are little tiny devices (that can fit on a keychain) that plug into a USB port on a PC and act as another drive basically. You can drag files to it, and then unplug and go plug into another USB drive on another PC. It works best with Windows XP, as it's all Plug-and-Play. On older machines you might need drivers, but it still works. Cool huh? :) This is fast replacing floppy disks, and with good reason. They range from $25 on sale to over $100, but its well worth it, trust me. They've been around 6-8 months, and the industry is just exploding. Time to go be productive. Update later. The later update: So I went to play FFXI, played for an hour or so, and then fell asleep for an hour and a half, ouch. Then I had dinner, and I had my Progresso Balsamic Vinegar for the first time my mom was around, and she tastes it and shes like "you know, this is just like wine right?" hah. All I know is that its extremely potent stuff. Anyway, so after that I started to watch the Simpsons, both of which were good tonight.. Malcom was good as always, and then off went the TV. And I played more FFXI, and I'm talkin to people, what a day. I should work on my website, or just relax and read and play games.. its nice to be caught up on things. Just have to worry about my finances, lol. I want to buy the ROTK soundtrack, XMen2, Bruce Almighty, and Mario Kart this week, yay. So I got this email from Cingular, since the Wireless Number Portability thing started today: Puerto Rico

Saturday night at the Red Death.. ooh oo o oo oooooo
sorry,I just get all song and dance when I think about how I spend my Saturday nights at WORK! Ah well, it wasn't too bad, busier than normal on a Saturday night, of course its comin to holiday season. I hope my bosses realize that and schedule MORE THAN ONE PERSON PER DEPARTMENT UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS! Well, work is really all I did today besides clean up my room a bit when I woke up. I took some decongestant pills last night that knocked me on my ass till noon today, and I had work at 1. Blah. So that's really it. Tomorrow I get to actually lounge and relax. I do hope I get to hang out with someone though, and I have a certain person in mind.. we'll see. Btw, I learned that 3 or 4 other people at work have to go to Gastroentiologists also, so I'm not alone. We think it might be a Staples thing ;) class action lawsuit time! Oh, I have a poll for those of you who play games.. What will come out first? Team Fortress 2, Duke Nukem Forever, or World of Warcraft? Or will King George II be crowned Hegemon before any of those happen? Come come, vote :) Oh by the way, I tried that mixing the vinegar thing.. not too bad, kinda potent though. For anyone who's interested, I like Cracker Barrel vinegar (which is Malt Vinegar), Ruby Tuesday Vinegar (which is Heinz "Gourmet Salad Dressing"), and Progresso Balsmaic Vinegar (the most potent crap I've ever tasted; it burns my tongue its so strong) the best ;) And starting today, up until I'm too busy at my midnight RotK showing in 3 weeks to post, I'm going to put a quote up each day, enjoy :) "May death find you quickly if you bring them to harm." - Faramir to Gollum, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Extended Edition

Some have ups, some have downs
So today has been a day of good things and bad things. For instance, it was a normal good day at work; nothin went horribly wrong, it was a little crazy like usual, but overall it went smoothly. Then I came home and relaxed, played some Mario & Luigi (good game!), went out to Ruby Tuesday with the family for dinner, came home, relaxed and chatted and played games.. thats how things should be when I'm off :) I just need to straighten my room, grr. And I'm gettin rid of the ROTK tickets as well as I had hoped, yay. It's gonna be fun. Now on the reverse side, I learned that one of my friends from high school, who used to compete with me for GPAs and whatnot, failed out of his college, and failed out of a community college after. I don't know what's happened to him, but that's definitely unlike him, and not good. Also, someone else I know from high school, and work with now, had his father pass away this morning from cancer. For any locals that read this, I'm talking about Mike Faiola, so anyone that knows him might want to express their sympathy; that kind of thing really sucks. As for my own father issues.. haven't heard from him in almost a year; he's still alive, I know that, but, blah. Is it even worth sending him something for Christmas? I guess so, to show that at least I still care to have a line of communication.. Welp, that's all for tonight. Go play with www.terraserver.com. I work 1-10 tomorrow, what fun! Off to bed. Grrr.. you know, I really did post a LJ last night.. apparently the server was acting up and it never made it. I don't even remember what I was talking about now.. except that RETURN OF THE KING TICKETS ARE ON SALE, and that I got Mario & Luigi, and I'm doin better and all caught up on school stuff, and the kitties page is updated: www.jglonek.net/kittens/kittens.htm

What is this?!

What a day
I start wondering why my Semagic program to type of LJ things isn't in my lower right by the clock, and then I remember that my POWER WENT OUT THREE TIMES EARLY THIS MORNING, WAKING ME UP EACH TIME! ARG! So I woke up this morning at 8:10, managed to get out of the door after showering by 8:30 with my mom, and I drove her to St. Francis for her cortozone shot in her back. Despite taking 4 hours instead of the one it was supposed to, everything seemed to go well. No telling how much the shot is going to do, but hopefully it's something, as my mom has been having really bad back and neck pains the past few months. And during the time I spent in the waiting room playing GBA/reading/using my Zodiac I got to watch this funny old nun talk to people; she was nice, just a bit.. off :) And of all places to run into someone I know, Kelly Cary was there in the waiting room. She did a triple take when she saw me, which was amusing, but she didn't seem to be in the mood to really talk besides saying hi. Her and the people she was with were in another sectioned off part of the waiting room, well, waiting. From what I gathered from chit chat going around between the Nun and them and others I think it might've had to do with some major surgery with Greg, but I'm not sure.. anyone who really talks to her should ask and see what was going on to make sure everything's okay; I don't have her screenname. So after that at 1 my mom and I got out of St. Francis and went to Pizza Hut for their lunch buffet. $5.95 for all you can eat salad, pizza, and breadsticks sure is a good deal. Mmm.. Then at 2 we went and took the kittens to the vet to get their second dystemper shot, and they did well. Have to bring them back on or around December 17th (yay!!!) for their third shot, then in February or March they need to get neutered/declawed/rabies shot. Fun fun. After bringing the cats back I got to relax for an hour, and then we went off to Robert Wood Johnson to get my ctscans done. That went fairly fast; and it only took 10 minutes tops once I got in to have two scans done, one of my head and one of my sinuses. I should have the results in two days or so; I hope nothing is wrong. After that I managed to relax a bit, get some of my homework caught up and clean my room, then went to my linux class which is just awful. We're doing command line in linux, and not really anything important either. Copying? Making directories? Editing? Good lord, that's not linux! Luckily there's only 3 more classes left.. of course he does this really annoying thing where he TAKES OVER THE MONITORS with a switchbox, so I can't do crap. Luckily I had my Zodiac. After that I got some milk at Acme since we were out of it, and then came home, where I've been lounging and cleaning ever since. So I was digging today and found my 128MB Secure Digital card that I swore I had sold with my Tungsten T! I'm so happy I found it, that's $70 or so I can save. Of course, the card seems to be busted, but Lexar is issuing me a replacement - aren't they sweet? Speaking of that whole Tungsten T Fiasco, PayPal still wants the money for it back, and I'm going to have to pay them I think. A quick summary - I sold my Tungsten T to someone overseas, which isn't covered in PayPal's seller protection policy, and the person used someone's account and credit card to pay for it, and PayPal has decided I owe the money back, making me out of my Palm AND the money I got for it. Isn't that sweet? I've been trying to deal with it for months, but I got a collection notice in the mail today so I better pay it. They're cutting it down to $380, but still. Just one more bill to put on top of the others.. So I was bored on my way to class tonight right, so I decided to give Cingular a call to see why my cell phone service went from crappy to spectacular to craptacular. What do I mean? When I first switched to GSM in July I had no service at my house or at Mercer, and 2-3 bars everywhere else in the area (but full service in Oxford Valley Mall in PA and Palisades Center in NY, go figure). Last month all of a sudden service became great - 3 bars at my house almost all the time, full service around Staples and towards Rt 1, 4-5 bars at Mercer. It was amazing. And then all of a sudden last week I'm back to crap again. Cingular's response? "We had a tower down in your area so we struck up a temporary roaming agreement with one of our competitor's and your cell phone picked up on that tower as it was closer". Gee, thanks. I hope they get a tower up soon to fix this, because I have a feeling I know who that 'competitor' was - TMobile. And I will switch to them in a heartbeat. Why? They get the newest phones, they understand customers and what they want - $24.99 for unlimited data transfer! At Cingular its $24.99 for 10MB! wtf is that!? Also their customer support can help do stuff like SET UP PDA'S TO WORK WITH THE PHONE, instead of insisting that your phone does not have bluetooth and they can't help you even though it most definitely does, like Cingular did with me. Blah. Thank god for number portability which is going into effect in a week. Speaking of that, did you know you can transfer your landline phone # to a cell phone, and vice versa? Cute. So I came up with this great idea. Those of you who actually know me know me know that I'm a huge vinegar nut with my salads. Vinegar (no oil!!), lettuce, bacon, cheese, croutons, mm.. And I like all different kinds, and can tell you what restaurants have which and where is good. Red Wine, Gourmet Salad Dressing, Malt Vinegar, Apple Cidar, Balsamic Vinegar, etc. My thoughts were, what if I mixed up all of them and saw what came out? I definitely am going to try this :) My only concern is that I might up the acidity level to something intolerable, but it should be interesting nonetheless :) Well I probably should get to bed, tomorrow being Tuesday and a work day and all. I have class afterwards too, what fun. I need to continue to work on my hw, get my room & finances straight and stuff. Remind me to watch Double Jeopardy so I can send it back to Netflix, and remind me to post Kitten pictures of Leto attacking my printer, and remind me to look at my Palm for the other 10 things I need to do. I'm going to get a picture of that stinking Burger King tomorrow to show you guys and help me figure out what it is. And I need to buy Mario & Luigi and Two Towers Extended Edition. Best Buy on my lunch hour here I come! Ya know.. I look at my writings, and what I can do for school and stuff, and I start thinking that I really should attempt to write something again.. I just need an idea, but I bet I could right a story.. hmm..

Catching up, Yay!
Well, today has been a slightly better day than yesterday. I am feeling better, haven't touched a tylenol all day, no headaches, my monitor isn't messing me up, nothing. This is very good, and maybe it means I'm finally healthy, but we'll see. Tomorrow I get to go with my mom to the hospital while she gets a cortozone injection into her back, and then I get to take my cats to the vet, and then I get to go for a ctscan of my head to make sure nothing is wrong. yay! Today I worked 10-5 (yea, me work on a Sunday? I had to 'cause I'm off tomorrow), and then I went to Uno's with my mom, brother, and grandfather for dinner (sometimes it amazes me of the amount of restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive of me). Then I came home, watched some TV (the Simpsons tonight sucked, btw), and then got my International Business project done. If anyone's interested, I did it on the gaming industry, and I have it up at http://www.jglonek.net/files/bus230/index.htm. I'm glad I got that done. Speaking of restaurants.. what restaurant has white walls and a green roof? I'm really trying to figure out what the heck Burger King on Rt 33 is becoming, and for the life of me I have no idea. It's definitely a restaurant, though. Rumor has it that Haldeman Ford bought the land and tried to get an Arby's franchiseship thingy but it was too much, so who knows what they picked. Another rumor is Pizza Hut (they want to move), but a green roof puts that out. Pizza Hut still might move in with Staples though, in that grassy lot.. So I just looked at my clock, and realized that one month from this time will be my birthday, and I will also be 1 and 1/2 hours into Return of the King! WOOHOO! Well, now as long as I can continue to catch up on my homework (which isn't too much left), and clean my room and get my finances in order, which I hope I can accomplish most of tomorrow, then I should be settled and able to relax and watch movies and play games and just have some fun instead of stressing like I've been. Good good. So who can't wait for black friday? Mee! I know some of the stuff Staples is having, but I'd die if I said anything. The best rumor I've heard for other stores is that places like Target might sell Gamecube for $80, and PS2 (and possibly XBox) for $100! I am SOOO getting an XBox if it's $100. And speaking of spending money.. Two Towers Extended Edition is $24.99 at Best Buy on Tuesday! WOO! I have to get that and Mario & Luigi for GBA.. Mario kart at some point too.. and on the 25th the Return of the King soundtrack comes out, as well as Bruce Almighty and XMen 2, and on December 2nd, Pirates of the Caribbean is out on DVD. Woohoo! Btw, did everyone else hear that Matrix Revolutions is a flop, and got beaten by both Elf AND Master & Commander this weekend? That's right, Matrix is in third place. It's grand total so far is $116 million. I bet it won't even make $200. Haha. Thats what you get for making a lame ass pos movie. Well, now it's time for bed, as I have an exciting day tomorrow, heh. I hope everything turns out okay.

Wow.. it's been 5 days
It's been 5 days since I posted anything? Geeze.. That was a fast week. Unfortunately, I've still been sick. I felt better on Sunday, then got into migraines and headaches and nausea and all that fun stuff most of the week. I'm finally on antibiotics and tylenol, so I'm starting to feel better. I'm worried that my monitor might be causing me headaches though, not a good thing. As for what's wrong with me.. who knows. It started out as a viral infection, it looks like it turned into a sinus infection. I'm going for a ctscan on Monday, so we'll see if anything interesting turns up. I hope not. Am I better for good? Who knows. I would say I am at the moment, but then again I said that 5 days ago, and look what happened. All I know is that even if I'm over this, I still have another issue which is causing me to go to a gastroentiologist (sp?) on the 25th.. And assuming I am better.. the first thing I need to do is clean my room, which is definitely messy after my two weeks of not really caring. Then I need to make sure I'm caught up on school work, and then hopefully I can begin enjoying myself again, and maybe play some FFXI before my free month is up (what bad timing on that..) and write those reviews and stuff :) I have to work both days this weekend though, because I requested Monday off, so we'll see.. And as for Monday, on top of my ctscan my mom is getting a steroid shot in her back to try and improve the pain she's having.. I hope that goes well, I'm kinda worried about it :( I have to drive her home because she's not supposed to drive too soon afterwards.. Well, I just thought I'd update for those of you who might actually look at my journal. I'm off to deal with the kittens running around my room onw, and continue reading before I go to sleep. (Ruled Britannia, by Harry Turtledove, is a good book for anyone who likes alternate history *cough* Garrett *cough*). I do plan on being active tomorrow before and after work; hopefully getting some things done, but we'll see what happens. My life is not something I'm in control of at the moment. Well, before I end this I have to say that I'd like to welcome Karyn into the ranks of those of us who have broken our scaphoid bone in our wrists. At least Karyn did it in a better way than me :) But I do hope that she fares better than I did - I would not wish the 12 weeks of the casts, plus rehab afterwards, plus my messed up elbow still a year and a half later, on anyone.. especially not someone like her.

AAAH RWJ SUCKS! & SO DOES BEING SICK!
So you guys are probably wondering, gee, where's that Zodiac and Matrix Revolutions review eh? Welp, I've been sick since Tuesday; I'm still sick, in fact.. but today I can move my neck, woohoo! What's been wrong with me? Well, Monday night I had a headache so I took some motrin and went to sleep.. woke up Tuesday, felt crappy, like a sinus infection as usual when the weather acts up, so I took some Day-Quil, went to work, felt odd all day.. just generally got sicker... come Tuesday night I couldn't move my neck really, it got pretty stiff. I take some more motrin and put a heating pad on my neck and fall asleep.. Wednesday morning I feel kinda out of it, lil stiff neck.. nothin bad.. saw Matrix.. had lunch.. come 4 when I'm supposed to go to work I feel like im dying, so I stop at 7-11 to take some Day-Quil tablets, and then I head to work... I start to feel better, but after work again I felt awful - headache, couldn't move my neck at all, etc. This time I take a muscle relaxer that I have lyin around since my jaw issue in July, and fall asleep till 2pm on Thursday.. I get up on Thursday.. feel like crap, fall back asleep.. wake up around 5 sweating, so I figure a fever broke.. and I feel great, better than I had the past few days. I go to class, come home.. all of a sudden, back comes the stiff neck, it was awful. So I take more of my assortment of medication and go to sleep.. and get up, I feel alright so I gi to work Friday.. by 5 Friday I felt awful again, headache comin back, stiff neck comin back, and now some weird ear infection, so I decide ok, it's time to go to the doctor. So my mom and I go to my doctor around 7.. they were worried I might have something serious, such as, oh, menengitis, and I had my fever back, so they tell me to go to the emergency room. So we go to Robert Wood Johnson at 8, sit in the emergency room for THREE HOURS! I started feeling worse and worse, and finally at 11 I get to actually go into a room. The doctor there also wanted to check and see if I had menengitis or not, so they took 5 vials of blood from each of my arms, and they gave me a spinal tap which IVing me up.. then I had to sit there with the IV still in me for an hour and a half while I waited for test results. Turns out that no, luckily, I don't have menengitis, just some nasty viral infection - go home and rest and let it work its way out. Gee, thanks. So I get home Friday night/Saturday morning at 2am, feel awful, fall asleep. This morning (Saturday) I still felt crappy, but I decided to go to work. I was half out of it most of the itme, and my lower back was aching a lot from the needle I guess. But I made it through the day, and here I am early Sunday morning typing this.. I have a nice headache on the top of my head, and feel like I'm gonna throw up.. so off to bed I go. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow so I can clean my room, do some homework, watch a movie or two, play FFXI.. type up those reviews.. heh. We'll see. Here's hoping I get better, ugh.

Wohooo!
I feel better, woohoo! The past three days I've felt like complete crap, and today I ended up sleeping most of the day. But I guess my mix of motrin & muscle relaxers & dayquil helped me kick whatever I had, because I woke up sweating all over this afternoon, so I guess I had a fever and it broke, hehe, and my neck suddenly isn't stiff anymore. Man that was awful. So anyway, I need to take a BUS230 online test now, and then I think I'm gonna get to posting my Zodiac & Matrix Revolutions reviews.

Going to see Matrix Revolutions now!
woot! 9AM showing! I'll be back later with my feelings on it.. I just hope its good. By the way, here are some quotes from CNN's review: Neo continues to be a custom-made role for Reeves' limited talents. The fact that his one-dimensional character is dazed and confused through out most of the film fits Reeves' performance style to a T. But the emotional impact of this movie is zilch. When Moss and Reeves lock lips, it looks like two wire coat hangers trying to get it on. Oh boy, I can't wait!
So I tried calling Cingular...
... to get help connecting my Zodiac to my phone. Wow that was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! First the woman didn't understand what I was saying, kept asking me questions "What kind of phone is it?" "Siemens S56" and putting me on hold. Finally she comes back to me and goes "I'm sorry sir but my tech support guy is telling me that that phone does not support bluetooth." Me: "Uh, Yes it does." Her: "Ok sir hang on" Her: "Maybe that phone was connecting with Infrared, because our records say that that phone does not have bluetooth." Me: "Uhh, yes it does. They're talking via bluetooth now, I'm looking at the bluetooth now." Her: "I don't know what to tell you, our tech support says that that phone is not capable of bluetooth" Me: "Can I talk to tech support?" Her: "No you cannot. You're going to need to Contact Siemens about this issue, because this phone does not support bluetooth" Me: "uhh, listen, it does, trust me. Go look at your website, it even says it on there." Her: "You need to talk to Siemens". Me: "Can I talk to your supervisor?" Her: "Sure hang on" *CLICK* Dead line. So now I'm calling back.. the rep I'm talking to currently says that the info on my account says that the other rep talked to tech support and they said it doesn't support bluetooth. So now she's talking to a tech guy.. Her: "Our tech person says that yes that is a bluetooth phone, but we don't have any information on how to set up outside devices. You're going to have to contact Siemens" Me: "uh, thanks"
Sony's ideas for the PSP
Apparently this is a real image that Sony showed off during a conference today of what their current concept of the Playstation Portable is, slated to be released late next year:
Cute eh? Must be a battery hog to hell.. I wonder how big it is..

Tomacco!
Got this from www.simpsonschannel.com, thought you guys would appreciate it :)
Rob Baur, a huge Simpsons fan, grafted a tomato plant to a tobacco plant, grew it, and tonight he has proof from the lab that it worked. "What we found was nicotine in the leaves". said scientist Ray Grimsbo. The plant grew off the tobacco roots and sucked up the nicotine, just like Tomacco on The Simpsons. The lab hasn't tested if the actual tomato has nicotine in it yet, but they say it probably does. "Generally in the fruit there is more material concentrated because that's what everything's going through to produce the fruit for the next generation. I would expect there would be more." And that would make the real life tomacco plant very poisonous. Rob Baur says he grew the tomacco plant just for fun, just to see if it would really work. But what's next for him? "I'll have to review my DVD's to see if there is more Simpsons science available."
I got my Zodiac! :D
I got my Zodiac today via Fedex just before I had to run back to work from lunch break, woohoo! Keep watchin this spot; this post will change into a review soon :) Ok I lied; I feel like complete crap so I didn't get a review up tonight. In the meantime, make yourself content with pictures (and a movie).

So about my website..
K guys.. seriously, what should I do with my website? I really want to do what I was attempting to do - make a place where people can go and post news about games and stuff, kinda like www.shortnews.com. I was just having serious scripting issues, and I had other things arise that caused me to stop working on it. So then I got lazy and turned it into what you see now.. which I could still keep, it'd just have to be moved to another part of the site. Do you think people would sign up to post news they found? I think so, because a lot of people already do that on message boards, but who knows.

Saturday night at Staples..
Aah, Saturday night.. a nice date night, movie night.. and where do I end up? Closing at Staples. I can't say it was that bad; it's fun - and crazy - when you work with the right people, like tonight, but still. And I didn't get much done like I needed to.. did high risk, helped customers, changed the window signs.. fun stuff. Got myself nice and backed up for next week now. Since I was at work since 1 that's really all I did today, although I did manage to get some of my history done - yay. I still need to really work on that, and business, and health, tomorrow. Not sure what else I'm doing - my two aunts are coming over to oogle over the cats, and I mentioned going to Six Flags again before they close for the season, but who knows. I just need to catch up on schoolwork so I don't feel behind, so I can actually relax and play games and stuff. Oh, and my room is still messy, arg. All the time. So I bought 6 tickets for Matrix Revolutions, knowing that 5 people could definitely go - figured I could give the other one to someone else - and everyone I thought turned it down. So now I have an extra ticket; I know what I did with the two I had left over last time for Matrix Reloaded, but I don't think I'm going to have any friends back from college or new girlfriends to give them to this time :( So if anyone is interested in seeing Matrix Revolutions at 9AM on Wednesday let me know. Yes, for you people still in school it means you'd have to skip it; but especially for Hamilton that can't be bad - come on, if you take Wednesday off, that means you have Tues-Sunday off ;) Let me know. Ya know.. i think I might shave soon.. startin to feel a lil fuzzy.. it's only been what, 3, 4 weeks since I shaved? lol. And you can't really tell, at all. People are envious and afraid of me all at the same time. I guess I'm just not a hairy person, heh. K, enough of this subject.. Hmm.. do you ever feel like you get a figurative slap in the face, and beaten up, and smacked around? When some things you hope are true end up not being anything close to reality, and the little path you were beginning to spot before your feet crumbles away into dust? It sux. I wish I knew why I felt so.. blah. It's not exactly depressed - I've been depressed, and this isn't it - but it's just.. I don't know. And whatever this is seems to be building too, getting consecutively worse each day, which probably even shows in these posts. Not a good thing. I don't like being like this, and I don't know why I am. I updated it since I first posted, so.. I've only been up for 12 hours and I'm exhausted, lovely.

Happy Halloween! Methinks..
So hmm.. could today be considered a normal day? Ya, I guess so, besides it being Halloween and all. We were going to dress up at work but since word came down that our East Coast Boss might be stopping in we nixxed that idea. Whatcha know, he never showed :) Hmm.. work was fine, except for two things.. 1) It took me ALL DAY to do three cycle counts; I had to count all the CDR's, Scanners, Phones, and Entertainment Software in the store; 2-3 times a piece, to make sure I counted right. Oh my god, my eyes start to go nuts after awhile. I need a raise for that. Oh,and I got slammed with activating two Nextel phones today. Why people keep wanting Nextel, I don't know - is the 2 way radio feature THAT important that you can put up with crappy plans, crappy reception, and crappy customer service? I guess so, since I have to keep activating the dumb things. Anyway, so I went to Wendy's for lunch right, and along with dealing with that guy who enjoys workin there waaay too much "IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH ON THIS LOOOOVEELLLY DAY?!", he had rubber claw gloves on today and was going "happy halloweeeen". frightening So we finally got our Matrix Revolutions groove goin today. Me, my brother, Matt, Charlie, Bill, and someone else (ticket's still hangin) are going to see it at AMC at 9AM Wednesday. Woo! Probably get some lunch afterwards. Works for me :) Still annoys me that there's no midnight showing, but oh well. Oh, and how come if I don't organize movie trips with people at work they fall apart? You should've seen some others attempt to see Freddy vs Jason over the summer without me really trying to make it work, wow, what a mess :) Guess I'm good for that eh? So hmm, after work.. came home, chatted with people/surfed the web, sat upstairs with my mom and got her to finally watch The Two Towers (yay!), gave out candy to the whole 10 kids that showed up; stopped the movie at about 8, went to get my brother's check at PetsMart (Oh, I'm supposed to say GO SHOP AT PETSMART! because they need business, bad), went to Ruby Tuesday (3rd time in 4 weeks! go me! I'm insane) for dinner (and saw Mike Norton), stared at where they want to put the Staples, again, went to Shop Rite because my mom and brother wanted to see it.. came home, finished Two Towers, and here I am! Speaking of Staples, the Hamilton Marketplace map says that the proposed area is almost 22,000 square feet; my Staples is 26,000 square feet, with almost 6,000 square feet in receiving alone (we have the biggest receiving I've seen in a Staples to date). So I think they could fit a nice one there.. Dover layout too, mm.. I think I need to do my history homework before I go to bed.. or definitely before I have work tomorrow (1-10, woohoo! Someone come visit, please god, it's so slow on Saturday nights, especially ones like this week where I don't have to set an ad). Btw, random thought - anyone who has a Gamecube and needs a game, do yourself a favor and go buy Viewtiful Joe - trust me, it's worth it. Oh yeah, I guess I'm not goin to Six Flags again this year - since the last day they're open is Sunday, and while me, my mom, and brother have season passes, neither of them really want to go, and I can't find anyone to go with me. btw.. you guys that know my whole issue with my wrist/arm.. do you know that sometimes I still can't straighten or bend my elbow all the way, and sometimes it gets weak and hurts? Talk about the most stupid thing I've ever done :/ going to be paying for it for a long time I think. Welp, off to attempt to get somethin done, or more likely read some and fall asleep, but still. PS- ever heard of the idea of saying "rabbit, rabbit" as the first thing you do when you wake up on the first day of a new month? Yea, don't do it; it's an evil satanic spell that brings bad luck upon you, trust me. Oh, Happy November! Egads, time flies.

Nighttime Talking
"So what'd you do on your day off?" "Slept till 12, woke up, ate frosted cheerio's, showered, wa bummy, attempted to do hw like 15 times, cleaned my room, read a lil, talked to people online, went to olive garden to get takeout, went to class for an hour, came home, went to staples, came home, talked to people online, ate food, fell asleep" God I'm lazy. But yea, my day turned out to be alright I guess.. it's still not the greatest thing in the world by far. The whole relationship stuff bothers me, issues I'm having.. sometimes I'm ok being single, sometimes I'm not.. I guess I'm still not used to it. I've talked to friends online today, they cheer me up luckily. It's good to have them. But then something like seeing that my Zodiac is shipping can cheer me up - shows you the two sides of me, huh? I still need to actually do my homework.. all I managed to do today was decide on a topic for a paper that's due in like 3 days. I still haven't touched any of my other stuff, not good. Must.. stop.. being.. lazy.. And I went to class, but my teacher said he worked on getting a lab going for us, connected the PC's to the internet, and they all got eaten by a Trojan horse, so we left early after he lectured a bit. I asked him though and next week he's going to let me install the version of Longhorn I have onto one of the PC's, hehe, should be fun :) I was so bored after class I went to Staples, ha. Gotta love it. I can't wait for my Zodiac.. random comment but it's true. Then I can have AIM up and running all the time on it, how sad is that? I should go look for other Palm stuff too.. I need to buy some new PC/GBA/GC games too, I should update my list. Ya know, I need to buy a new DVDROM drive sometime.. why I gave it to my ex.. OO, yes I remember now.. So tomorrow is Halloween huh? OOH YAY! not. I haven't gone out for Halloween in years now.. I doubt I will tomorrow. Just sit around and be bored - maybe I'll actually do some homework! I'd dress up in work tomorrow, but I don't think anyone can beat the 3 guys we had as women last year, plus supposedly a big boss is coming, so who knows. No one really had any ideas to dress up as this year anyway.
ARR, this new keyboard, its buggin me.. I bought the EXACT SAME KIND I had that my cat dumped water on, but its not responding the same.. course this is new, the other was a good 6, 7 years old. Oh, I wanted to show this I was reading from CNN.com just now about student's being wired:
PS: Isn't my digital camera great? It's only a 2 megapixel too; don't let anyone tell you they're not good!
From rural areas to the suburbs to cities, almost every public school is wired for the Internet and schools now have one computer with Internet access for every five students, the research shows. As a result, more children and teens use computers at school than at home. They must not have visited Hamilton schools, eh? :) I mean, we have the computers, yea, but unless something's changed in the past year, there are only what, 8-10 computers at Steinert that actually get online? Well, I think that's it for tonight.. if I think of any more random stuff to put in I'll do it.. like, I GOT PAID $347 THIS WEEK! I love it when I get my bonus each month, woo. Speaking of work, again, look! ITS STAPLES #736 IN HAMILTON, NJ!
W00t!

Updating the Journal
Ya know, apparently if I wanted to change how my journal looks without using one of the generic stylesheets I'd have to pay $5 to upgrade my account again temporarily. I guess that's not a bad thing, since I would get more codes to drag people on here, plus I had to pay for an account originally since no one wanted to give me a code (We don't have any!!) yea yea. More later. EEP! Apparently I touched something that made my site change.. ah well, luckily I don't mind how it looks.. Btw, what's the difference between a livejournal and a blog?
Blah
Well, I'm actually off from work today so I can get some stuff done; of course I slept till 12 so that doesn't help much. I should clean up my room (AGAIN) and do homework that I'm behind on.. maybe I'll play a game or watch a movie. Oh and look, EVERY PERSON on my buddy list has an away message up.. no one to talk to. Gotta love it.

Tornado?!
So apparently I'm not allowed to have a dull, boring day this week. I'm starting to miss those I think.. Anyway, I'm driving in my half-alseep state like usual to work at 6:50 in the morning, preparing to get my chocolate chip bagel, and I get ready to turn down the side street I use to cut to Rt 33, and there's this line of traffic streaming off of 33 onto Nottingham Way, and a cop at the other end! So I'm like, ok, let's go down the next one then.. so I turn down it, get to Rt 33, and there's a cop sitting there too! So now I'm wonderin what's going on.. the guy in the truck in front of me gets out and goes to talk to the cop., meanwhile I'm slowly inching my way up to the road to get a reaction out of the cop about what I should do. So he turns his lil cop car light on me, and the guy talkin to him translates: Him: "Where are you going?" Me: "I'm just trying to get to Staples to work" Him: "Yea, I recognize you. Just be careful, there's transformers and power lines down" Me; "Ok, thanks" I get to Staples, and it's me, Matt, and Kendall. I learn that they saw two transformers blow as they were getting there at 6:30 (one at the light at Westin, one down past Staples), and that the cops had blocked off Rt 33 - no traffic in or out, at least for two hours apparently. (I got bored, so I took a Canon A70 digital camera and took some pics):
Two of the other employees, Jane & Tom, couldn't get past the roadblock to work. Somehow George and Randy, off the clock, not working (came to pick up school stuff they left last night) managed to get past the cops, the same way I did; same place too. So another of our employees, this older woman named Ginny, called and said she couldnt get in and she was parked on Westin at the moment (now infamous for the street I cut off the cop on turning onto 33). We told her to do what me, George, and Randy had done. After we hung up Matt and I went outside and we're lookin towards the left waiting for Ginny. All of a sudden we hear sirens going off and a cop comes flying down to Jiffy Lube. I'm like "haha, I bet he got Ginny". And sure enough, the cop made Ginny TURN AROUND AND GO BACK when she was not 25 feet from the Staples parking lot! That was THE funniest moment of the day, bar none. So now it's 8, and we're missing employees (for obvious reasons), thank god there were no customers either. Finally PSE&G pulls up and starts working on the poles:
After nothing really eventful happening for a half hour, around 8:30 two employees show up - walking from over by Stewart's. They had to park on the side street and walk. Ok, its too dangerous to drive over down power lines, but you can walk? (Oh, btw, we had power during this whole thing - I believe Staples is powered to the neighborhood behind it, not to everything on Rt 33). A cop decided to drive down Rt 33 at one point, and I guess Jane & Tom made a mad dash for it, because they managed to make it in - fuming at how horrible Hamilton police are :) At 8:45 or so, this car comes in from the right by Stewart's and parks in front of Big Lots. I turn around again and I see this cop RUNNING, ON FOOT, from Stewart's, over to the car.
Whatever the cop said, I assume it was "go back from whence you came, YOU SHALL NOT PASS!", because the car left immediately back towards Stewart's, and the cop walked back too.

At 9 two more of our employees showed up, having to circle back onto Estates Blvd over onto Shady Lane and park by Hess, and walking in. They were kinda peeved too. At that time I went out and saw that they set up a real roadblock (guess the cop got tired of sitting).
During this whole time cops kept drivin back and forth, workers were hikin back and forth, and most importantly of all, AT LEAST FIFTY CARS WENT IN AND OUT OF HALDEMAN FORD. Guess you know who supplies the Hamilton police eh?
Anyway, at about 9:30 they opened up traffic going Eastbound only, and within 3 minutes I swear to god at least 15 customers pulled up, it was disgusting. The road opened back up both ways around 10 or so. I proceeded to have my normal lovely work day at work from then on. Of course, word spread by midday that it was believed an F1 tornado touched down in front of Boston Market, tearing up the power lines there, and causing transformers to blow out down to McDonald's. I went home on lunch and sure enough, the road was partially blocked off while FIVE PSE&G trucks repaired a huge mass of downed wires and a cracked pole. Not to mention that a few more poles are leaning pretty badly now and need to be fixed. I drove past again around 7:30 tonight, and Boston Market STILL had no power, and they were STILL out there fixing it, putting a new pole in, and fixing the wires. Geeze! So we had a tornado touch down on Rt 33. Feel special yet? lol

Online games & stuff
I'm debating on getting FFXI.. anyone plan on playing it with me? :) I should get the two expansions to DaoC.. The Everquest Evolution pack looks nice.. and of course, the Diablo II 1.10 patch FINALLY came out today, and it's supposed to be pretty good. Hmm.. not to mention I got Ghost Master.. and I have Viewtiful Joe over on Gamecube (which is a great game, go get it!) and Rebel Strike is out.. more games next month too, like Mario kart! Where's Half-Life2? :) Oh and uh, MS Office 2003 is cool :)
This just amuses me..
I, and EVERYONE ELSE that preordered a Zodiac, wants to know when they're shipping.. Tapwave keeps saying "by the end of October". Well, uh... Anyway, they have their phone & online support outsourced to India, and uh, as you can see from the following conversation I had.. Serene: Thank you for contacting Tapwave sales support. My name is Serene. Jerry: hi Jerry: I'm just wondering when the Zodiac will ship.. I know you guys keep saying "the end of October", and the "last week of October", but it IS that time of the month now.. and there's only 3 days left in October.. when should I expect the Zodiac to ship? Serene: Zodiac is scheduled to start it's shipping at the end of october. We don't have the information regading the exact date of shipment at present. But it will be in the end of october. Jerry: but there's only 3 days left in october... how can you guys not know an official day yet? Serene: Most probably in these 3 days you may expect the shipping of Zodiac. Jerry: will we be notified before it ships? Or will it just be "SURPRISE! We've charged your credit card, and you should have it shortly!" Will we get any email confirmation or anything? Serene: You will be informed about the shipment, once we know the wxact date of shipment. Jerry: um, ok.. i still don't understand how you guys don't know when this device is shipping, especially if its within the next three days.. Serene: Most probably.

Sleepy..
Well, I'd rant about work and stupid customers and how Staples half-asses things like the debit card machines we just got installed today but I'm going to sleep.. actually I'm going to go and read and have my kitten climb all over me, then I'm goin to sleep. I'll work on updating this more tomorrow (some of my random quotes on here somewhere would be nice), as well as an overall update each day I hope.. like how my LINUX CLASS IS CRAP! Erm, night :) Oh and, I plan on getting FFXI for the PC, so anyone else who is gettin it, let me know.. we need to play on the same server :) I need to buy other games too.. like RS3.. arr.. money.. Zodiac.. Oh, and if those damn Hamilton republicans call one more time... Oh, my kittens btw:
WTF WARNER BROS!!!
SLKFJSLFJSF. I'm so annoyed. My friends and I have been to FIVE MIDNIGHT MOVIE SHOWINGS. Star Wars: Episode II, LotR: Fellowship of the Ring, LotR: The Two Towers, Matrix Reloaded, and XMen2.. we were lookin forward to seeing Matrix Revolutions at night... but NOO. Warner Bros wants to do a "simultaneous worldwide release", meaning that the first showing isn't going to be allowed until 9am Wednesday the 5th. What the heck man.. ah well, there's always RETURN OF THE KING to see at midnight.. ON MY BIRTHDAY!
Another Hamilton Staples?
So my boss was ranting and raving today about how Staples corporate wants to build another Staples in this area. If you know this area, you know that from the Hamilton store (where I work at), you can reach three other ones within 10-15 minutes; two on Rt 1, one on Rt 130. Now they want to slap another one onto Rt 130 in the new Hamilton Marketplace., making there be TWO Hamilton Staples within 5 min of each other.. geeze! And we're still supposed to be a small town :) How that works with 3 high schools, 3 middle schools, 17 elementary schools, 90,000+ citizens, I have no idea.. My boss is afraid it'll eat our business and employees, which is true.. but.. I dunno.. it'd be interesting.. Apparently they're looking at the vacant lot/parking lot area/dug up dirt hole to the left of Ruby Tuesday.. Here's a map of the marketplace for those interested (yea, it's freely available - cool eh?) Btw, I love the Marketplace.. Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday.. soon Chili's, EBGames, Cingular, Barnes & Noble.. mm..
Where oh where is my Zoodiac...
Ya know, I really really really want my Tapwave Zodiac. It's supposed to ship "in late October". We're running out of days here.. I can' wait to use it though, ooh man.. I miss my old Palm, this one should be awesome :)
It's baack!
Yea, so it's been.. 6 months since I've touched this, so what? :) I've decided to fix the images, and like, actually use it.. I keep randomly putting things in my profile for people to read, so why don't I post it here? I'm so strange sometimes.. Welp, enjoy! Btw.. I'm not sure anymore.. so is it a good or bad thing to be compared to Tobey Maguire?
