I haven't updated SINCE APRIL?!

Wow! Apparently I'm just not good at keeping my journal going since it's been almost three months since I last updated. I'm still alive, for those of you out there who might still check my journal occasionally :) Where to start. 1 -> Melissa. Things are still going strong with her :) We celebrated our 6 month anniversary last night, and I'm so very happy that I'm still with her. I'm glad I met her, and we've had tons of fun the past six months, and I can't wait to see what the future might hold for us. I'm just very happy :) 2 -> Work. Still at Staples (not that anyone found that surprising I bet). Five years at the end of this month. I had been looking for new jobs but since I'm leaving on vacation soon I thought I'd at least wait until I get back to do anything serious. Plus there's the whole college thing. 3 -> College. I'm going to DeVry I decided. I'm going to major in Network Communications Management. I start at the end of October (they have tri-mesters, it's weird), and hopefully I'll only be there 1 1/2 - 2 years and I'll have my Bachelor's. Yay! No idea on scheduling yet, so we'll see how that goes. And I'm going to do my best to be A+ certified by the end of the summer. Ok so those are the major things, now it's time to move onto other random things.. Let's see, since April.. I finished Mercer again. I'm done this time I swear (unless I go for an Animation class or something with Maya for fun). I passed everything (including Calc 2) yay! I'll have to put up some pictures from my Maya class with my projects. I've been going to Six Flags a lot with Melissa and George. 20 times already this year! So for some updates about the park (remember to always look at www.gainsider.com. 1) Kingda Ka is broken. Yes. Something went wrong with the guide cable area three weeks ago and it's been worked on as quick as possible to reopen. Soon I hope. I didn't get to write about it for whatever reason but at the end of May I got to be involved in the commercial shoot for the coaster. I got to ride it 11 times the first day (because it had issues that prevented it from runniing most of the day) and 44 times the second day! 44! We even did a helicopter shoot in the morning where we couldn't even get out of the train, they kept launching us! And then I rode it once more when it officially opened, so my total is 56. Look for me on the commercial (most likely in the green or dark blue trains) whenever it starts airing again :) And here's a picture of me on my first ride! 2) They are building a big wooden coaster for next year. They torn down Viper and are preparing to put it there (and other places). I'll let everyone know the details when I get them. So besides Six Flags what have I done? Well we've gone to the beach a few times, and Melissa and I actually drove out to Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio a few weekends ago! It was an 8 hour drive both ways, with nasty thunderstorms and construction (ack), but the park was cool! We stayed in a hotel that was pretty cheap and was very close to the park. Definitely worth the trip. I have pictures that will make it up at some point. We're probably going to head to Six Flags New England around the end of August. Also, my brother graduated two weeks ago yay! He's off to the School of Visual Arts in NYC for the fall. Good luck! Oh and a biggie (and I'l lhave pictures asap): I built a brick patio! Yes! You heard me correctly- manual labor! It's a 310sq ft patio, and it took A LOT of work by hand digging things out and filling them back in. I have Melissa (ESPECIALLY Melissa, for putting up with all of it and helping A LOT), my brother, his girlfriend, my mom, and my grandfather to thank for getting it all done - especially the day where we filled a commercial dump truck FULL of dirt and grass by hand! It looks pretty good, and has nice patio furniture on it now. You can see the final product here. Hmm, there's a nice big thunderstorm here right now. Hopefully I'll keep power. As for movies, well I've seen a few. Star Wars Episode 3 at midnight! Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! Guess Who! Sahara! Madagascar! Batman! And War of the Worlds! All great stuff! I definitely recomment seeing them all. Oh and I went to St. Greg's like 4 times last week. Even entered to win the car and 50/50. No luck :( And I've been swimming in my pool ;) And finally, when it comes to games.. I'm trying. Finally beat Zelda: Minish Cap for the GBA. I got a lot more DS games (Kirby is the DS' killer app - seriously. This game should have come out at launch). I haven't played my 'Cube, which kinda stinks :( And I have Battlefield 2 for the PC which is good but I stink at it. And RCT3: Soaked! I love Rollercoaster Tycoon :) And I'm going to work on Half-Life 2 again today. What else is in my plans? Tonight just lounge as Melissa is working. Tomorrow is random stuff like Cold Stone for free ice cream before Melissa works at 4:30 again. Then hopefully we can get to the fireworks at Mercer at night. Sunday is Hurricane Harbor in the morning hopefully, and then Fireworks at Vets at night. Then Monday I have to work 4 hours, blah, but I get out at 12:30 and then it's a picnic at my house and probably fireworks in LBI (never done that before). After that it's playing games while Melissa works during the week (when I'm not working), and packing. Packing why? Because I leave for Disney for two weeks NEXT SATURDAY!
